EDUCATION AND WORK
Nelson Peña graduated from the Cuban National Ballet School in 2009. In 2012, he was a soloist with the Josburg Ballet, in 2013–2022 he was a principal dancer with the National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Kazakhstan, while also being a guest principal dancer with the Russian National Ballet Theatre (2016–2018), Astana Ballet in Kazakhstan (2019) as well as the Saint Petersburg Classical Ballet (2021–2022).
